When to Use Each Food Type
Combat Healing
Popcorn is king - 15% instant heal lets you recover mid-fight without waiting for regen ticks.
Pre-Dungeon Prep
Basic Meal before entering - Health Boost II provides sustained regen throughout exploration.
Early Game
Berries and Carrots are everywhere. Low healing but free - eat constantly while exploring.
Emergency Reserve
Keep 5-10 Popcorn in your hotbar. They can save a run when things go wrong.
Food Tier List FAQ
How do I make Popcorn?
Popcorn requires Corn and a Chef's Stove workbench. Corn can be found growing wild or farmed. It's one of the easiest S-tier foods to mass produce.
Popcorn vs Caesar Salad - which is better?
Popcorn (15% HP) scales with your max health, while Caesar Salad (15 flat HP) is consistent. At 100 HP they're equal, but Popcorn becomes better as your HP increases.
What does Health Boost II do?
Health Boost II from Basic Meal provides passive HP regeneration over time. Great for sustained exploration but not fast enough for mid-combat healing.
