Mining tip: Each ore type requires a specific pickaxe tier to mine. Upgrade your pickaxe before exploring new zones to avoid wasting time on ores you can't collect.

Mining Tips by Zone
Zone 1 (Emerald Wilds)
Copper and Iron in cave systems. Look for cave entrances on hillsides. Bring torches!
Zone 2 (Howling Sands)
Thorium on mountains and Ore Turtles (green ore). Adamantite is rare - don't farm specifically.
Ore Locations FAQ
What pickaxe do I need for each ore?
Crude for Stone/Copper, Copper for Iron, Iron for Thorium, Thorium for Cobalt/higher. Each tier unlocks the next ore type.
Where are Ore Turtles?
Ore Turtles wander in Zone 2 mountain areas. They have Thorium ore growing on their shells - mine carefully without killing them for renewable ore!
How rare is Adamantite?
Very rare. It spawns occasionally in Zone 2 deep underground. Don't farm for it specifically - you'll find small amounts while gathering Thorium.
