Tool Tiers FAQ
Can I skip tool tiers?
Partially. You can skip Copper if you find Iron quickly, but each pickaxe tier is required to mine the next ore type. Skipping too much leaves you undergeared for zones.
Which tool should I prioritize upgrading?
Pickaxe first - it unlocks new ore types. Then weapon for combat survival. Axe and shovel mainly affect speed, not capability, so they can wait.
How important is the Thorium set bonus?
Very important. Poison Resistance from Thorium armor is essential for cave exploration in Zone 2+. Without it, poison damage will drain your health rapidly.
Where do I find Linen Scraps for workbench upgrades?
Linen Scraps drop from Skeletons (night spawns) and Dungeon chests. They're the #1 bottleneck material - start farming early!
